Terence Hanes Jr. was born September 23, 1991 to Angela Farmer and Terence Hanes Sr. in Moline, IL. Terence graduated from Rock Island High School and pursued higher education at Black Hawk college.
Terence was a respectful and charismatic young man. He was very active, and the life of any party; especially enlightened by his love for music and fancy dance moves. Although he was small in stature, he had the spirit of a man six feet tall. He never wanted pity or to have anyone feeling bad because he was ill or due to his height. Terence was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 18 months old. He never allowed that to slow him down. He played basketball and was a good foot-ball player; enhanced by his exceptional speed.
In addition to his aforementioned hobbies, Terence loved to cook. His mother affectionately referred to him as her personal sous chef. He enjoyed Rick & Morty, graphic tees, movies, video gaming and collecting the latest tennis shoes.
Those left to cherish his memories include his mother, Angela (Marc) Richardson; step-mother, Michelle Hanes; grandparents, Gloria Young and John (Brenda) Hanes, Rock Island; siblings, Madysen, Myla, Myles and Malcolm Richardson, all of Rock Island, IL, Claudia Fuentes, Moline, IL, Terria Hanes, Jacksonville, FL, Senea Dillard, Dallas, TX, Terrasia (Terry) Eichwald, Oak Park, IL, Christopher Hanes-Correa, Colona, IL, Omar Hunigan Jr., Davenport, IA and ShaRee (Brooks) Swanson, Columbia, SC; a special friend Liuba Rodriguez and her son Lazar, Rock Island, IL and a host of additional family and friends who so dearly loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Terence Hanes Sr, and maternal grandmothers Nancy Barbour and Josephine Kyles.
