Funeral services for Abe Willie Combs, 88, of Bettendorf are 12:00 noon Tuesday at Orr’s Mortuary, Rock Island. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport.  He departed this life on Tuesday at the Bettendorf Health Care Center.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the Mortuary.

He was born December 6, 1933 in Monroe, LA the son of Abe W. Combs, Sr. and Jonethia Waters.

He retired from John Deere Foundry. He married Dorothy J. Tolliver. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters, Belinda Tolliver, Patricia Combs, Bernice Combs, Angela Douglas and Nawasa Combs; grandchildren, Johnny Jones, Jr., Rolanda Jones, Rico Tolliver, Terence Tolliver, Patrick Tolliver, Demi Tolliver, Theodore Combs, Ashley Combs, Marquez Comer, Marcus Comer, Davin Barnes, Jr., Isabelle holliday, Malik Holliday, Cody Tolliver, Terry Douglas, Emry Rude  Eric Orr, Tanisha Douglas, Michael Combs, Michelle Rogers Bailey and many great grandchildren.
