Anthony R Bostic (Tony), 61, of Davenport, passed away Friday Aug 23, 2013, at home from Liver Cancer.  Funeral service will be on Friday Aug 30, 2013 at Bethel A.M.E. Church 323 W 11th st Davenport.  Visitation will be 10 AM, Service will begin at 11 AM. Burial will be at the National Cemetary, Rock Island Arsenal.

Tony was born June 11,1952 to Jimmie and Jacqueline Bostic.  He graduated from Davenport Central High school in 1971 where he played football and went to State for wrestling. He is a veteran of the Navy.  He joined and became a member of Bethel AME church in 2009.

Survivors include his Mother Jacqueline Bostic, Brothers Robert (Kathy) Bostic Corpus Christi, TX, Kirk (Cindy) Bostic, Sisters Teresa Bostic White, Yvonne Rudd, Tawniece Rudd, and Dawnya Rudd-(Dan) Forler, Davenport. Daughters Chantal Bostic and Tyraine Bostic Davenport. Sons Michael Holman Davenport, Mario (Jessica) Holman Rock Island. Tony has 9 Grandchildren,5 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. A special friend Cane (dog).

He is preceded in death by his father Jimmie D Bostic, Grandfather Robert Norville, Daughter Antaria Bostic, and Great Granddaughter Nahlaya Gordon.
