Ardean Emma Phillips, 80, of Davenport departed this life on Friday, March 1 at Manor Care Utica Ridge, Davenport. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was born November 9, 1938 in Aledo, IL the daughter of Richard L. and Melvina E. (Jump) Richardson. She married Billy C Phillips in 1975 in Rock Island.
She was employed at Fresh Pak and Brach candy companies.
Orr’s mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Her favorite past time was playing bingo.
Preceding her in death were her husband, her mother, Melvina Richardson-Bell, and a brother, Curtis Richardson.
Her survivors are a daughter, Vickie Frakes, East Moline, sons, Keith Matthews, Davenport and Daniel Matthews, East Moline; and a brother, George Richardson, Indianapolis; eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
