Mrs. Brenda Tribbett went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital, Peoria, IL as a result of a stroke and cardiac arrest. She was born October 22, 1946 to Alvin and Argolda Foster of Rock Island IL.  She married Paul Tribbett March 17, 2009.  She was the eldest of seven children.

 

Brenda was a true child of God who could tell about the goodness of God anytime you talked to her.  She was born, raised, and baptized in Second Baptist Church, Rock Island.   She was an active member of the church for 67 years and also served on the Usher Board along with her husband, Paul. 

 

Brenda is survived by her sisters Odette Jackson (Bill), Galesburg, IL; Rose Kelly, Moline; Alvin M. Foster (Cathy), Memphis, TN; Joseph Foster, Moline; Errol Thomas Foster (Carla), Minneapolis, MN.  She also leaves behind several aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Paul Stephen Foster, and husband Paul Tribbett. 

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2014 beginning at noon and visitation one hour before the funeral service at Second Baptist Church, Rock Island.
