Carl Dean Kipper Jr., 70, of Davenport, IA, peacefully passed away on May 31, 2024, surrounded by his family, after a difficult battle with leukemia.

Carl was born on August 27, 1953, to Carl Dean Kipper Sr. and Barbara Jean Kipper in Paris, Missouri.

Carl attended Southeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. He graduated in 1971.

Carl then married Sharla Rae Burgess, June 25, 1977. Carl worked a short time with John Deere and then Alcoa for 32 years as a Servicer.

Carl was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved cheering on his boys. He was so grateful he was able to see the back to back Super Bowl wins. "How ‘bout those CHIEFS?" He enjoyed watching the games most with his sons.

Carl was a man who loved his family and believed that family should always stick together. He loved the company of his grandchildren that always had him laughing. He loved going to the casino and doing puzzles with his daughter. He tried not to let cancer get the best of him and fought a good battle.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents: Carl Dean Kipper Sr. and Barbara Jean Kipper. He is survived by his wife, Sharla; Daughter, Nicki (Lahari) Kipper Robinson of Davenport, IA.; Sons, Carl Kipper III and Carlton Kipper (Ray) of Davenport, IA.; Grandchildren, Cashea Kipper, Amayah Kipper, Brayden Kipper Robinson, Daijah Kipper Robinson; Sister, Sarah (Henry) Smith of Kansas City, MO; Brother, Kenneth (Ranessa) Kipper of Kansas City, MO; Brother-in-Law, Carl (Carrie) Burgess of Davenport, IA; Special Aunt, Bonnie Beechum of Davenport, IA. As well as the many friends and family members who loved him.
