Funeral services for Charles Eugene  “Deacon” Callicott, 74, of Davenport will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Orr’s Mortuary, Rock Island.  He departed this life on Wednesday at Clarissa C Cook Hospice House. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time at Orr’s Mortuary.

Orr’s Mortuary, Rock Island is assisting with arrangements.

Charles was born on November 26, 1942 in Sioux  City, Iowa. Charles and Ann Toney adopted Deacon at an early age.  For many years he was employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include a cousin, Willie Carter, Davenport and the staff and friends of St. Francis House Chateau, Davenport.
