Charie J. Johnson, 89, of Moline, IL, departed this life on Monday September 15, 2025, at Bickford Sr. Living, Moline, IL.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm. Saturday, at Davenport Memorial Park.

At 12:30 pm Saturday, processional will depart from the mortuary to the cemetery.

He was born on January 16, 1936, in Abbeville, MS, the son of James and Pearl Johnson. He was lovingly raised by his Stepfather, Clyde Martin after his father’s death at a young age.

He married Mary F. Joseph on June 29th, 1959, until her passing in 2012.

Proceeded in death by his wife, Mary F. Johnson, James A. Johnson (Son), Tina Johnson (Daughter), Felecia Y. Johnson (Grovetown, GA), Janet & Brandon Hill (Savannah, GA), Grandchildren: LaShandon Hill, Niesha Johnson, Stacia Parker, James Johnson, Jr., (Great Grandson), Jaxon Parker, as well as in-laws, and their children. Other family members include his brother Arthur C. Johnson (Deceased), and sister Flora D. Porter (Deceased).

He retired from John Deere as a Tool and Dye Fabricator and Forman, a loving father and grandfather.
