Funeral services for Clarence Edward Buckner, 65, of Rock Island, IL will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Orr’s Mortuary, 1326 4th Avenue, Rock Island. Burial will be at a later date.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Mortuary.

He died on Saturday, December 5 at his home in Rock Island.  Clarence “Buck” Buckner was born June 27, 1950 in Monroe City, MO.

Survivors include a son, James Buckner (Ashley), their children:  Xavier, Patrice, Jalisa and James Jr.; Wilma L. Buckner, Peoria, IL and Veronica Martin, Davenport (sisters); brothers and spouses; Ray Robbins (Marilyn), Milan, IL and Leon (Barb) Robbins, Highland, CA.

Ora L. Rogan, East Moline, IL (Mom/Aunt), Edna Buckner (Aunt) LaBelle, MO, Nellie Buckner-Lecher, (aunt), Springfield, IL, Vernie Robbins (Aunt), Quincy, IL and Nellie Robbins (Aunt), Decatur, IL; extended sisters, Diane Starling and Donna Wilkerson, Rock Island, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.  Special friends, Mark Lyle and Raymond Stewart.

Preceded in death, Ellen and James Buckner (parents), Wanda Buckner (Sister), Roger Buckner and James Otis Buckner (brothers).
