Funeral services for Coleman E. Kirk, 72, of Davenport will be 11 a.m. Friday at Third Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Rogers Kirk officiating. He departed this life on Friday at Genesis Medical Center–East Rusholme Street, Davenport. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time at the church.

Orr's Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born Oct. 26, 1941, in Preston, Miss., the son of Roy and Clarkie Scott.

He retired in 2003 from Sears and Roebuck, where he was employed as a warehouseman.

Survivors include his wife, Lizzie B. Kirk, Davenport; a daughter, Tammy (Richard) Killing, Cincinnati; sons, Ricky, Phillip (Patricia) and John (Lori) Kirk, all of Davenport; sisters, Dorothy Scott, Anna McCoy, Davenport, and Shirley Davis, Philadelphia, Miss.; brothers, Leonard Scott, Raymond, Roy, Jr., Eddie Floyd Scott, Davenport, and Odez Scott, Columbia, Mo.; 20 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
