Services for David Johnson will be noon Friday June 17, 2016, at Greater Antioch Baptist Church, Rock Island. Visitation is at 11 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport, and Repass is at the church.

David enjoyed working as a carpenter, cooking, fishing, basketball, football, riding motorcycles and, most of all, riding bikes with his grandchildren. He leaves in cherished memories the love of his life, his wife, Angela Marie Lee; 12 children, Latora, David Jr., Devell, Angelo, Angelic, Dawyne of Rock Island. Latoriana of Carbon Cliff, Latesa of Silvis, Lacardice, Deandre of Davenport, Latresa, Bertalynn of Evansville, Indiana, and 41 grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel (Andrian), Arrick; sister, Barbara of Evansville, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Alberta Johnson, and brother, Tyrone Johnson.
