The life of Eddie Ruth Riddle Taylor came to a close on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her home in Rock Island, IL.

Ruth was born October 10, 1945 in Louisville, MS the daughter of Odessie Riddle Hoskins.  She graduated from Louisville Colored High School in 1964.  She was “homecoming” queen in 1961.

Ruth retired from Oscar Meyer Kraft Foods after 38 years of service.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a brother, Bernie Hoskins, Louisville, MS; an aunt, Pearlie Hall, Rock Island, IL; uncle, Charlie Riddle, Los Angeles, CA; very special cousins, Lucille (Bill) Metts and Jackie (William) Liddell, both of Louisville, MS; and a host of cousins.  A very special friend, James Nunn and Larry Dunbar; and caregivers, Kirsten Jackson and Geneva Wilson. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Odessie Hoskins.
