Funeral services for Emma L. Tatum, 90, of Davenport will be held at noon Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at the Church of God, 1234 Ripley St., Davenport. She departed this life on Saturday at Genesis Medical Center East Campus. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Orr's Mortuary, Rock Island is assisting the family with arrangements. Emma "Lucille" Tatum was born to Sylvester and Luella Burrage on Dec. 23, 1926, in Louisville, Mississippi. She married Charlie F. Tatum in Louisville, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Jerusalem Temple Apostolic Church where she attended faithfully.

Lucille leaves to celebrate her life: three daughters: Charlotte Tatum, Emma Jean Tatum and Magarie (Augustino) Clarke. Five sons: Bishop David (Marilyn) Walker, Bobby L., Jimmy O., Vester "Lee" Tatum, of Davenport, and DeWayne (Vanessa) Tatum, St. Louis, Missouri; 45 grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great and great-great grandchildren. All of whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her son, LaVorn "Pete" Harrington, and three sisters: Sarah "Earlene" Daily, Walterine Burrage-McDonald and Mabel Bryant.
