Funeral services for Esau McDonald, 69, of Rock Island will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at People’s Missionary Baptist Church, Rock Island. He departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, at his home.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
He was born February 3, 1950 in Kemper County, MS the son of James and Gladys (Harrison) McDonald. He was a member of People’s Missionary Baptist Church.
Orr’s Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Survivors include sisters, Mary E. Jacks, Martha Baltimore, and Dorothy Johnson; brothers, James, Ezra, Jerry and Willie McDonald.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Aretha Kimmions and Eunice Smith; brothers, Wayne and Charles McDonald
