Funeral services for George Walter Miles, 60, of Davenport will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Orr’s Mortuary, 1326 4th Avenue, Rock Island, IL 61201. Burial be at a later date. He departed this life on Wednesday at the Veterans Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa.
He was born June 23, 1955 in Osceola, AR the son of James E and Willie Odell (Lowery) Miles.
He was employed as a truck driver.
Survivors include daughters, Michelle (Simba) Mhlanga and Kimberly Miles, Edmond, OK; sisters, Susie McLaughlin, Michigan, Patricia Kalu and Jennifer Mitchell, Davenport and five grandchildren.
