Funeral services for Helen Marie Manley, 84, of Davenport will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Second Baptist Church, Rock Island with Pastor Joseph D. Williamson, III officiating.  She departed this life on Friday at Trinity Unity Point, Rock Island.  Burial will be at the National Cemetery Rock Island Arsenal.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

Orr’s Mortuary Rock Island is assisting the family with arrangements.

She was born on August 2, 1929 in Clarksville, MO the daughter of Gabriel Barber, II and Leora Randel. She married James E. Manley he preceded her in death.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was employed at Rock Island High School as a Security Guard.

Survivors include a daughter Lorrie Manley, Moline; sons, Kent, Rock Island and Kevin Manley, Moline; sisters, Alice Jean Barber, Rock Island, Hazel Moore, Davenport, Beatrice Marshall, Davenport and Jeanetta Douglas, Rock Island; brothers, Rev. Gabriel, III and Albert Barber, Rock Island; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
