Memorial services for James Anthony Johnson, Sr. 53, of Rock Island will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Orr’s Mortuary, 1326 4th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. Burial will be at a later date.
He was born August 10, 1960 in Water Valley, MS the son of Charlie and Mary Frances (Joseph) Johnson. He was employed at a maintenance worker in the health care industry. He served three years in the US Army.

Survivors include his father, a daughter Stacia Nicole Parker, Davenport, a son, James Anthony Johnson, Jr. Grove Town, GA; sisters, Felecia Y. Johnson, Grovetown, GA and Janet Johnson Hill, Savannah, GA.
