Jesse “Junior” James Jones Jr. was born June 26, 1961, to Jesse & Lucy Jones. He married Janice Thomas May 31, 1980, and had one son, Jermaine Jones.

Jesse was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan where he spent most of his Sunday afternoons rooting for his beloved team. He also enjoyed cooking which helped support his love to eat.  Jesse also took pride in his appearance and made sure he was always put together nicely. He loved the Lord and his family.

Left to treasure his memory include his son, Jermaine (Keanya) Jones; grandchildren, Jacquez Jones, Jasmeire Jones, RJ Austin, and Jayvian Jones; brother, Jerry Jones; sisters, Melinda Jones, Gwendolyn Reid, and Lesa (Yolandas) Dixon; aunt, Nettie (Mack) Jones; special cousins, Patricia (Brad) Vaughn and John Bryant; and a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Jones Sr. and Lucy Jones; grandparents, Wiley and Zola Jones; uncles, Arthur Lee (Millie) Jones Sr., Ernest Jones, McKinley “Mack” Jones, Curtis Johnson, John (Maxine) Bryant and Emmitt (Louise) Bryant; aunts, Erma (Andrew) Washington, Clara (J.B) Griffin, Maggie (“Uncle”)Campbell, and  Dora (Dean) Smith; sister, Cynthia Jones; nephew, Stanley Jackson; and grandnephew, Kingston Cedric Victor.
