Joe passed away at the Harmony Utica Ridge Nursing Home, Davenport on Thursday July 4, 2024.  He was born on February 11, 1964, in Davenport, IA to Joseph Andrew Clayvon Jr and Ellouise Marie (Toney) Clayvon.  He Graduated from Central High School in 1983.

He loved to draw pictures of airplanes and watching his favorite movies Airport 1975 and 1977, he also liked watching reruns of I Love Lucy. He also loved listening to the Clark Sister and gospel music, it was calming to him.  He loved his family and spending time with the family during holidays and special occasions, asking his nephews and nieces to sneak him a Pepsi because he wasn't supposed to have it.  He also could clean a kitchen better than his sisters.

The family would like to thank Harmony Nursing Facility for taking such good care of Joe.  You were his family away from home. 

He leaves to mourn his mother, Ellouise, two sisters Dominica Clayvon of Phoenix, AZ, Andrea (Kemp) Jones of Davenport, nephews, Brandon Clayvon, Dominic Hill of Phoenix Arizona, Mikal (Tatiana) Clayvon of Davenport, IA and nieces, DAndra and Noel Robinson of Davenport, IA a host of great niece, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Clayvon Jr, his sister Deborah.
