Joyce passed peacefully from this life the evening of October 1, 2015 after a battle with Cancer.  She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.  Joyce was born March 5, 1957 in Rock Island, IL, but has been a long time resident of Marietta, Georgia. She received Christ at a young age.  She used her faith to excel as a member of the Lady Auxiliary of Paul E. Kelly American Legion Post 296 to serve God and country.

 

Joyce is survived by her husband, Napoleon Parker, Jr.; two sons, Kobie Davis, and Willie Clay Davis; one daughter, Qiana Davis; five step children; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Gloria Liggons, Edna Dukes, and Mona Miller; one brother, Kevin Pore; a host of relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Ruby Glenn, her stepfather, Mr. Earlie Glenn, and paternal father, Horace Davis.
