Funeral services for Larry Terrell, 63, of Davenport will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Third Missionary Baptist Church, Davenport. He departed this life on Saturday at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Church.
Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery on Monday. Anyone wishing to attend the burial should meet at 9:00 a.m. at Orr’s Mortuary 1326 4th Ave., Rock Island.
He was born July 23, 1958 in Oxford, MS to Eddie and Rosie Pearl Terrell. He served in the US Army. He married Loretta Hilliard on August 4, 1979 in Davenport, IA. He was employed at Quad City Freight as a Fork Lift Operator.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Loretta “Tina”; sons Larry Jr. (Yvonne), Brandon and Darvis Terrell; 20 grandchildren, 7 great grand- children; sisters, Cathrine (Stevan) Lomas and Patricia Terrell, brothers Michael (Renee), Charles, Henry (Kelly), Ricky (LaTonya), Jimmie (Michele), Earney, Tony (Cathy), John (Lanisha), Willie, Chris (Jazelle)Terrell, and a host of additional family members and friends
He is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Mary Jean, Annie Laura, Bernice Terrell and his grandparents.
The services will be streamed over Facebook. The name is ThirdMissionarybaptist Church.
