A memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 5, for Lemuel Wiggins, 86, at Tabernacle Baptist Church.   Burial will be at The National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.  He departed this life on Monday, September 28 at Rock Island Nursing &Rehabilitation, Rock Island. 

He was born December 29, 1929 in Shreveport, LA the son of Leroy and Myrtis (Faulkner) Wiggins, Sr.  He was employed at the US Postal Service in Chicago. 

Orr’s Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Mae Garrett, Rock Island.

Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, Selma Lee Wiggins and Mary Garcia and a brother, Leroy Wiggins, Jr.
