Linda L. Ringdahl, 73, of Davenport departed this life on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at her home.
She was born June 18, 1951, to Otto and Helene (Schmidt) Schneider. She was united in marriage to Gerald Ringdahl on April 24, 1976.
On March 1, 2011, after 32 years of devoted service she retired from Alcoa as the Sr. Administrative Assistant to the Director of Manufacturing. She was a devoted member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Davenport. She served on the board of the North Little League, and the Fillmore Elementary Moms & Dads Club. Her hobbies and activities include fishing, arts and crafts, rooting for the Green Bay Packers. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and Mission trips to Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Helene and Otto Schneider.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jerry; children, Michael (Krista) Ringdahl, Matthew (Christi) Ringdahl, of Davenport; stepchildren, Brian (Teri), Ringdahl, Galesville, WI, Elizabeth Ringdahl, Amy (Vince) Carravetta, Daniel Ringdahl, Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Kaiden and Mason; step grandchildren, Jason, Tommy, Jessica, Nicholas, Gregory, Alex, Joseph, Justin, Madison; brother, Paul (Beth) Schneider, Burlington, WI; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Followed by her Celebration of Life on Friday, December 20 at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 109 East 14th Street, Davenport, IA 52803. Committal will take place at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
