Linda Jean Shorter

Mrs. Linda Gooch Shorter was born on October 18, 1952, to the late Jabo and Irma Gooch.  She was united in marriage to the late Doyle Shorter, and together they were blessed with two children, Alanzo and Tammy Shorter of Davenport, Iowa.

Mrs. Shorter leaves to cherish her loving memory; her siblings, Tony (Fannie) Gooch of Water Valley; Edith (Cleve) Puryear of Olive Branch; Calvin (Tish) Gooch of Oxford, Mississippi; and Catherine White of Water Valley.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Gooch.

She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, stepchildren, cousins and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
