Funeral services for Lucille Barnes, 85, of Rock Island will be 12:00 noon Wednesday at Orr’s Mortuary. Rock Island.  She departed this life Monday, April 22 at Unity Point Quad Cities,  Rock Island.  Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery. 

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time at the Mortuary.

She was born September 16, 1933 in Cherry Valley, AR the daughter of Samson and Nettie Barnes. She attended Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ and Antioch Baptist Church. She retired from IBP/Tyson Foods. 

She leaves to mourn daughters, Dianna Roberson, Lisa Nunn, Constance Powell and Leslie Barnes; sons, Aubrey and Charles Barnes; thirty-five grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
