Funeral services for Mark Antony Armstrong, 48, of Davenport will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Central Church of Christ, 4900 Northwest Blvd., Davenport.   He departed this life on Wednesday, October 5, at Genesis Medical Center East Campus.  Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Church.

He was born March 27, 1968 in Iowa City the son of Sam and Sidney Armstrong. 

His hobbies included watching the Green bay Packers, listening to 2 Pac, DjQuick and Mike Jones, he loved his Cadillac’s, working on cars and spending time with his family.

He is survived by a daughter, Kezia Tyree McLemore, Waterloo, IA; his parents, Sam and Sidney Armstrong, Davenprt; a longtime girlfriend, Elberta Taylor, Davenport; sisters, Brenda (Ellis) Atwater, Davenport, Janis Brooks, Corpus Christi, TX and Shirley (Fred) Bolden, Marvel, TX; brothers, Ronnie Armstrong, Corpus Christi, TX, Sammy Ray (Mary) Armstrong, Des Moines, IA, Michael (Rachel) Brooks, Tucson, AZ and Anthony Horton, Davenport, IA; four grandchildren.
