Funeral services for Mary Frances Johnson will be 11 a.m. Thursday at People’s Missionary Baptist Church, Rock Island with Pastor Willie Jones Officiating.  She departed this life on Friday, November 30, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport.

Wake services will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Orr’s Mortuary, 1326 4th Avenue, Rock Island.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time Thursday at the Church.

She was born December 30, 1937 in Water Valley, MS the daughter of Willie and Viola (Alexander) Joseph.  She married Charlie Johnson on June 29, 1959.  She was a member of People’s Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Scholarship Committee.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Johnson, daughters, Felecia Johnson, Grove Town, GA and Janet Johnson Hill, Savannah, GA; son, James Johnson, East Moline; brothers, Willie, Chicago, Eugene, Crenshaw, MS, Robert, Davenport and Sidney Joseph, Chicago, IL; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Tina Johnson.
