Funeral services for Mary Jean Robinson, 65, of Davenport will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, at Third Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Rogers Kirk Officiating.  She departed this life on Wednesday, December 23 at Unity Point Health, Bettendorf.   Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.

She was born December 24, 1952 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Jimmy and Louise (Wilson) Hollingshed.  She married James Robinson.  He preceded her in death. She was a member of Third Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved her God, she always put God first,  she loves church and she loved doing children’s church. She also did service work at ManorCare for the Mano Care residents.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Julia Adams, Setra Mae Hollingshed, brother, Ricky Hollingshed and brother-in-law, Daniel Jones.   

She leaves to mourn her memory, sisters, Mary Ann Hollingshed, Gilana Ann Hollingshed and Patricia Jones; brothers, Jimmy, Sr., Tony, Steve and Tommie Lee Hollingshed.
