Naomi Kimbrough Momon, 94, of Rock Island, died Sunday March 27, 2016, at St. Anthony’s Nursing Home, Rock Island, IL.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday March 31, 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, Rock Island, IL.  Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 1, at Second Baptist Church, Rock Island, IL.  Interment to follow at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church.

Naomi was born May 17, 1921 to the late Alex Kimbrough and Mattie Eva Frazier- Kimbrough in Russellville, KY.   She was educated in the Logan County School System.  Later, she migrated to Rock Island, IL and made it her home.  Naomi retired after working for thirty three years with International Harvester.

Naomi united in Holy matrimony with Kenneth R. Harrison who preceded her in death.  Two children were born to this union who also preceded her in death.   Later, she married Henry T. Momon who preceded her in death.   One child was born to this union who also preceded her in death.

Naomi was a loving Mother and Grandmother and was devoted to her family and friends.  She always lived life to the fullest and touched many in a positive way always helping others.

She is survived by two granddaughters Laquina Williams , Moline, IL and Latrish Williams Davenport, IA, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and two godsons, nieces, nephews, and a host of many relatives and friends. Six brothers and sisters and one grandson preceded her in death.
