Patricia Ann Kirk was born to Willie Davis Jr. and Bertha (Washington) Powell on December 25, 1963 in Davenport, Iowa.
She graduated from Central High School and later married Philip Kirk Sr. on August 25, 1989. From that union they raised five children and a bonus son together.
Patricia was very patient and served as a domestic engineer, never working outside of the home. She took pride in staying home raising her children and caring for her family.
It was not uncommon to see her at the park playing with her children. She especially loved to play Bad-Minton with them. On Halloween, she has been known to paint her face and go trick-or-treating with her children, her bag was for the “sick” children at home. Anyone that knew her, knew she was high spirited and loved her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Philip, 3 daughters, Mamie, Kimberly and Niesha Kirk; 3 sons, Devon Wright, Philip Jr. and Trance Kirk; sister Willie Lee Powell; brother Willie James Powell, 12 grandchildren and a host of additional family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Earl Powell.
