Services for Patricia Ann Peppers, 54, of Davenport, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at the Living Word Ministry Church of God in Christ, 5120 5th Ave., Moline.

Patricia passed from this life Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Pepper Sr., Itta Bena, Miss. Patricia is survived by her mother, Lizzie Peppers Watkins, Belleview, Mich.; one son, Gabriel Lamar Pepper, Topeka, Kan.; four brothers, J.C. Peppers Jr. (Michelle), Seneca, Kan., Superintendent Samuel L. Peppers (Earlie), Ann Arbor, Mich., Johnny Peppers (Brenda), North English, Iowa, Cannon P. Peppers Sr. (Bettie), Davenport; six sisters, Evelyn J. Hall (Bradford), Albion, Mich., Shirley A. Austin (Charles), Davenport, Ethel M. Franklin, Belleview, Pearl L. Chatman, Davenport, Margrette L. Peppers, San Antonio and Doris J. Lee (Dwayne) Davenport; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a 1978 graduate of Leflore County High School, Itta Bena, and a 1982 graduate of Mississippi Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech and journalism. Pat was currently attending Scott Community College, taking business courses to enhance her professional skills, and was currently employed at the Army Corps of Engineers as an intern with the construction division.

Pat accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour and was a member of the Living Word Ministry Church of God in Christ with her pastor, Cannon P. Peppers Sr., who happens to be her brother. Patricia was an awesome worshipper of the Lord who always ushered in the Spirit of God into our service. She was known to sing spiritual; I Feel Your Spirit Moving All Over Me, Power Lord. I Need Your Power; My Body Belongs To God; and Help Me, Help Lord.

She was a wonderful mother and dearly loved and provided for her only son, Gabriel Lamar Peppers, and her family.
