Private funeral services for Pearlie D. Cooper, 86, of Davenport will be held at Orr’s Mortuary, Rock Island. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
She departed this life on May 14 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law , Mrs. Willie Ann (J. B) Riley.
She was born March 1, 1934 the daughter of Sola and Olivia (Moore) King. She married Willie Cooper on August 27, 1951 in Louisville, MS. He preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of Third Missionary Baptist Church. She was a housewife and a caring foster parent to many area young people.
She leave to celebrate her life daughters, Willie Ann (J.B.) Riley, Diane (Narvie) Cooper and Connie Miller; son, Walter (Tamera) Cooper and Reggie McGee; sisters, Jearlene (Arthur) Hayes and Charlene (Elbert) Martin; brother, Leroy Thomas.
