Rodney Allen Taylor Obituary

Funeral services for Rodney A. Taylor, 46, of Davenport will be 11:00 a.m.  Friday at Third Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Rogers Kirk, officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.  He departed this life on Sunday at Genesis Medical Center East Campus.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and  Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the Church.

He was born May 19, 1966  in Davenport the son of George and Dorothy (Brown) Taylor.  He graduated from Davenport Central High School and Northern Illinois University.  He was employed at Alcoa at a mill worker for the past 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie; daughters Tiffany Taylor, Mandy Taylor, Carissa Coopman, all of Davenport and CyLee LeBrecque, Washington State.  Sisters, Limmie “Nell” Brown and Mary “Ann” Taylor , Davenport; brothers and sister-in-law, James “Sonny and Roma Taylor and Charles Taylor, Davenport.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Fred and Robert Taylor.
