Susie Mae Hall Obituary

Susie was born on September 17, 1949, in Friars Point, Mississippi to the late Daniel and Elizabeth Hall.  In 1963 Elizabeth passed away and the family relocated to Davenport, Iowa. 

Susie was a very hard-working lady.  She was employed at the Kahl Home for 46 years until her retirement.  She received several awards and recognition for her dedicated service.

Susie accepted Christ and was a faithful member of Harvest Time Family Worship Center, in Davenport, Iowa under the pastoral leadership of Apostle James Lee. 

On June 20, 2025, the angels quietly extended their hands to assist Susie in her transition to peace and rest.

Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Elizabeth Hall, Davenport, Iowa, a grandson, Sedrick Hall, Davenport, Iowa, seven great granddaughters, Miyonna Powell, Shanaya Powell, Dekarria Shall, Brittany Hall, Alyica Hall, and Sediah Hall, Davenport, Iowa, one great grandson, Atrayvion Hall, Davenport, Iowa, one great-great grandson, Miairis Orr-Powell, two brothers, Daniel Jr. (Veronica) Hall, Columbus, Georgia, and Walter Hall, Davenport, Iowa, one sister, Tierney Hall-Nelson, Lancaster, Texas, an uncle, Roosevelt Hall, Rock Island, Illinois, an aunt, Katherine Tot, Missouri; nephew, Daniel III (LaKisha) Hall currently stationed at Luke Air Force Base, Glendale, Arizonia, nieces, Kisa Hall, Kayla Hall, Davenport, Iowa, Karrissa Hall and Kelciee Hall, Rock Island, Illinois, and a very special friend, Leportia Bloch, Davenport, Iowa, who helped bring much joy and happiness to her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruby Lee Johnson and Essie McPerson, and two brothers, L.C. Henderson and Robert L. Hall.
