Timothy “Tim Dog” Wilson Sr. 58 of Davenport, Iowa was given his wings on the morning of October 29, 2020. He died of natural causes.  The funeral service  for Timothy will be held on Thursday, November 5, at the Redeemed Voices Worship Center, 306 Cedar Street, Davenport, IA. Visitation is 11 a.m. to 12 noon. The funeral will be from 12 noon until 1 p.m.

Timothy was born on June 3, 1962 in Davenport, IA to Sylvia L. Wilson and Tate Wilson Sr. He was the first of five children born to this union. Both parents preceded him in death.

Timothy graduated from Central High School in Davenport.  He received his Associate Degree in Mechanics from Scott Community College in Bettendorf, IA. 

Most people knew him as Timmy or Tim Dog.  He was loved by everyone who knew him. Timmy was known for working on others cars.  He enjoyed watching Dragon Ball Z and Star Trek.  Although he sometimes had a short temper, he really did have a heart of Gold.  He tried to help everyone that he came into contact with.  He understood and appreciated the importance of the family dynamic and the quality of life. He unconditionally loved all of his children as well as all of his grandchildren. He also loved his siblings and all of his relatives and his friends. His hobbies included fishing, gardening and spending as much time as he could with his kids and grandkids. 

Timothy leaves to mourn his passing his children and their (mothers): Terrance Williams, (mom, Robin Williams); Timeshea Wilson and Cristal Wilson, (mom, Ronda Wilson); Jesse Howard, Domonic Howard, Joshua Wilson, Chastitiy Howard, Cherity Howard, Alyssa Howard, Mark Howard, and Jasmine Howard (mom, Maryland Howard); Timeka Hodges, Damion (Doni) Hodges, Satheal (Daron) White, Sylvia (LeVertius)Johnson, Tamara (Monique) Miller, DeAndre Hodges, Desirae Hodges, and Timothy Wilson Jr. (mom, Salathel “Lady” Hodges). 

His sisters: Pastor Tammy Ruffin, Davenport, IA and Tracy Jordan, Atlanta, GA. Brothers: Michael Wilson, Atlanta and Tate Wilson Jr. Texas.  He leaves five aunts, three uncles and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, EVG. Sylvia L. Wilson and Tate Wilson, Sr., his brother Thomas Wilson, his grandson Kenneth Ray Campbell, III and his granddaughter Jada Wilson.

Timmy will be missed by all who knew and loved him. “Rest in Peace, Timmy”.
