Wilbur S. Allison Jr. was born January 23, 1936 in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of the late Lena Parson and Wilbur Allison. He passed away at home with his wife and son at his bedside on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Wilbur was baptized and professed his life to Christ as a young man. He pursued his undergrad studies at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Wilbur then relocated to the Quad Cities and worked for International Harvester in East Moline, Illinois, until he retired.

Being an only child, he took on the Nunn family as his siblings.  Wilbur cherished his family and was a lover of music, fishing and track and field. His love of sport was passed on to his son D’Angelo, where he spent countless hours supporting him from T-Ball to college football.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Patricia of Rock Island, Il; sons; D’Angelo Allison, Rock Island, IL, Vernell (Penny) Weston, Jefferson City, MO, Ervin Allison, Hannibal, MO, Greg Fugate, Columbia, MO, Steve Fugate, Seattle, WA, and Ramsey Allison, Tempe, AZ.  Daughters; Tiffany (Frank) Berka, Davenport, IA, Leslie Allison, Tempe, AZ, LaTonya Henderson, Davenport, IA, Navalin Adams, Topeka, KS, Deidre Maxwell, Memphis, TN and Debra Carter, Columbia, Mo. A host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, the Nunn family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
