Funeral services for William “Jack” Harris will be 10 a.m. Friday at Olivet Baptist Church, Rock Island.  He departed this life on Monday at his home.  Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Friday at the Church.

Orr’s Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born May 21, 1941 in Eads, TN the son of Royal and Corrine (Holiday) Harris.

He retired from John Deere.  He enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include a special friend, Barbara Smith, Rock Island; a sister, Martha Harris, Memphis, TN and brothers, James, Dixon, IL and Robert Harris, Rock Island.
