Services for Willie Cube Burrage, from Davenport, Iowa will be held 11am Friday December 21, 2012 at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church1302 E. 12th Street Davenport, Iowa. Burial will be held at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, Iowa. Orr’s Mortuary, Rock Island, is in charge of the arrangements.  Mr. Burrage was born May 30, 1937 in Louisville, Mississippi he died December 14, 2012 in his home.  He retired from John Deere after 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his wife Eddie Mae Burrage and survived by daughters, Myra, Peggy, Lisa, Loriann Burrage of Davenport, Iowa; Vernessia Craig of Portola Valley, California; Roxie, Rhoda, Rena, Larise and  Cierra Burrage of Knoxville, Tennessee. Sons, Willie and Tony Burrage, Michael Nunn, Dirk Mowery of Davenport, Iowa and son-in-law Roger Craig of Portola Valley, California. Host of grandchildren;  sisters, Ruth Edwards, of East St. Louis, Ill., Lillie Bates and Judy Godfrey, both of Davenport, Iowa; Mary Johnson of Rock Island, Illinois and Martha Simms, Santa Clara, California. And brothers, James and Charles Burrage, of Davenport, Iowa.
