Funeral services for Willie M. Henderson, 83, of Davenport will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Third Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Rogers Kirk officiating.  He departed this life on Thursday at his home.  Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday 6-8 p.m. at the church.  Additional visitation will be Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church.

He was born September 26, 1931 in Taylor, MS the son of Cad and Stella (Brown) Willingham.  He married Rose Lee Curr December 27, 1955.  He retired from International Harvester where he was employed as a painter.  He was Chairman of the Deacon Board at Macedonia Baptist Church.  He was a Mason at King Solomon Lodge. In was in the Army and served in the Koren War.

Survivors include a daughter, Tracy Anderson, Louisville, KY; sons, Willie Jr., Columbus, OH, Mycheal, Denver, CO, Tobias and James Henderson both of Davenport.  Sisters, Oytie Hobbs (Solomon), Chicago, IL , Laura Jean Sargent (Troy) and Mary Ivy (Jeff), Davenport. Brothers, Jim (Mary Francise) and William (Bernice) Willingham, Davenport; grandchildren, Josh Kennedy, Renika, Quiana, Angelica, Deanne, Tobias, Nikquan, Payton and Braxton; great grandchildren, Shawn, Ben, Jordan Alliyah, Asia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Rose Lee; brothers, Earnest Henderson and Cad Willingham.
