Willie N. "June" Miller

Willie N. “June” Miller  was born August 16, 1958 in Friars Point, Mississippi, to the late Clarence Jones and Bennie Jean Miller. June lived in Friars Point Mississippi until the age of 12 he also attended Friars Point Elementary School, when June turned 12 years of age he moved to Davenport Iowa with his mother where he attended J.B Middle School, and Central High School.

June married the love of his life Louise White on February 14, 1993. June had a beautiful heart full of love and happiness he gave his love unconditionally. He enjoyed the outdoors, listening to music, and socializing. but most of all he loved his family and sharing his wonderful smile.

June is preceded in death by his parents (Clarence Jones and Bennie Jean Miller) (3) sisters: Luella Atwater, LaJoyce Miller and Lily Jones (2) brothers: Louise Charles “Beaver” Miller and Walter “Muff” Miller, and (3) other siblings who died at birth.

On May 12, 2021 June was called home to sweet rest. He leaves to cherish his wonderful smile, outgoing personality and memories; his wife Louise Miller of Cedar Rapids, IA, (3) sons: Willis Nicholson of Davenport IA, Jamie (Kimberly) Hollingshed of Muscatine, IA; and Deandre Cunningham of Cedar Rapids, IA; (1) step-son: Jermaine Johnson of Cedar Rapids and (1) step-daughter: Stephanie Johnson of Cedar Rapids IA; (4) sisters: Ledora Miller, Rochelle Fisher, Helen Jones all of Friars Point, MS and Gwen Jones of Detroit, MI (7) brothers: Jeffery (Mellissa) Miller of Florida, Scott Miller, Cornell Miller, Layman (Nottia) Miller all of Davenport IA, Clarence “Alice” Jones Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Ray Jones of Dallas,TX and Raymond “Franshela” Jones of Clarksdale, MS, and (1) Aunt: Tannie Marie Johnson of Milwaukee Wisconsin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
