Funeral services for Ernest Manley, 79, of Minneapolis, MN will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Dr. Melvin Grimes officiating.  Formerly he resided in Rock Island.  He departed this life on Wednesday, December 13 in Minneapolis.   Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.

He was born November 2, 1938 in Alton, IL the son of James and Rose Day Manley.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn, daughters, AnJeanette Manley, Greenwood, SC and Nichole Manley, Austin, TX; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
