A memorial service for Noe Tijerina, 73, of Rock Island will be held on September 8 from 4-7 p.m. at Casa De Oracion Emanuel, 204 West Garfield, Davenport, IA.  He departed this life on Wednesday at Generations of Rock Island.  Burial will be later.

He was born May 22, 1944 in Alamo, TX the son of Ramiro and Esther (Reyna) Tijerina.  He was employed at Valley Construction. 

Orr’s Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Survivors include daughters, Lela Mourin, FL and Esther Potts, CA; sons, Jose Adan Tijerina, FL and Joe Tijerina, CA; sister, Emma E. Ramos, Rock Island; brother, Rudy Tijerina, Laredo, TX; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharon; brothers, Samuel, Jr.  and Ramiro Tijerina.
